Got some trail cam shots of strutting Tom with hens last week at local gun club I hunt. Its getting close. I will post some shots next time I pull card.

hey rough, heard yelping and gobbling and seen some strutters last weekend up here in luzerne county.  59 days left but who's counting.

Hi Beardhunter, shot a bird up there a few years back. It was the most physical hunt I ever had. Heard him at 9am after run and gun all morning, he came a long way and at 10:30 I dropped him a long way from the truck. It took me 1.5 hours to get back to the truck. I was physically wasted. Loved the gamelands there with the deep drainages.

You are right rough, those big timber hunts take alot out of you. You have to be in shape. Go deep in the big timber to find unpressured birds.
