HHCC THE ELDER LONGBOXES

Postby hoosierhunter » January 26th, 2010, 9:04 am

Just got these finished up folks, and thought you might like a peek, I have had a few requests from members who were anxious for a look.
The 1st is a Cedar w/ 31 checkered Cherry paddle.
The 2nd is a Green Poplar w/ 31 checkered Cherry paddle
The 3rd is a Walnut over Walnut
The 4th is a Cedar w/ Wormy Hickory paddle
The 5th is a Cherry w/ Wormy Hickory paddle
All my domestic woods are timbered, sawn, and kiln dried by myself.

GOOD LUCK, GOD BLESS, AND STAY SAFE !

Yep, they look great and I am sure they sound just as good. Something special about a fine tuned longbox!

There sure is something special about a quality long box!

Really nice long boxes you got there, love the cedar and hickory.

Aw, man... I'm drooling again. Hate when that happens!

Calls come and calls go, but my affinity for a hewn long box gets me every time.

Beautiful.
