Postby Ben Sobieck » December 16th, 2009, 12:39 pm

Get familiar with Gene Ellis, Jr., the new T&TH Pro Staffer for Oklahoma. Here's his vitals.

Name: Gene S Ellis Jr
Forum Handle: strutin_okie
Hunting Grounds: Oklahoma

"I am very passionate about turkey hunting and when I'm not turkey hunting I'm thinking about it. There is something about hunting that old Tom that's gobbling off in the distance. Every time I hear him it sends chills down my spine.

"Every since I shot my first bird, I was hooked. I even walk around the house struttin' sometimes. I can't wait until my son gets his first bird, then we can both strut. (Man, I wish it was turkey season...LOL)

"If anyone needs help with guns, calls, calling, or hunting places in Oklahoma just let me know. I am here to help."

Hey Gene,

Welcome! I look forward to hearing from you and glad you're here.

Doris, my wife, graduated from OBU in Shawnee and her mom graduated from OU in Norman. Her grandparents lived in Noble and she has lots of relatives all over the state.
