The turkeys had really whipped up on me the last couple of days and I thought they had beat me for good but it all changed this afternoon. I went to a farm and got on a hill where I could see a long way and used a box call ever so often trying to get something to answer me. I finally spotted a flock moveing down a fence row and when they went into a dip in the field I made my move. There was only one tree in the pasture that they were in but luckily it was close to them. I started out with some kee kee's followed with some yelps, trying to sould like one that got seperated. I never got an answer but after just a couple of minutes the flock started feeding right over the rise to me and I took the lead hen. http://i579.photobucket.com/albums/ss236/MAKEemQUIVER/DECpics418.jpg
Yeah I have another gun tag and I am off Friday so hopefully I will get to show you all another pic. It is going to be pretty cold but I am going to try them anyway.
