sorry for the wait, but finally got one....

our season opened april 3rd. my son and i finally were able to bag two this weekend. our season closes on may 2nd and i still have my two tags, so i will be out hunting again this week. let me know what u guys thinks. we are hunting my reservation in AZ, fort apache indian rex, white mountain apaches.

yes he is!! thats my older brother brian, this was his first time spring turykey hunting and from the looks of it, the excitment came out in a form of liquid.... ***ft. apache indian rez***

Congrats on the birds fellas.  Less coffee helps me avoid what Brian was going through[:D]
 
Looks like a beautiful place to hunt.  Now you just have to watch where you sit down apparently [:)]

I was wondering the same thing when I saw the picture.  That is hillarious, well at least he is facing the other direction.  Congratulations on the birds, I love the white tips on the merriams.  As some others have siad that looks like some very beautiful country.

thank for the replies guys... its not turkey hunting if your not having fun. ill be posting a picture of my son allan in the coming hours, so be on the look out for that one. we usually hunt for the meat so im not able to provide the weight, spur and beard length. but ill keep that in mind on my next birds.
