calling from inside a blind

Does anyone do anything different when they call from inside a blind i would think the sound would be muffled a little bit call closer to a open window or maybe try to call louder or just call normally. Thanks

I don't do anything different when I use a blind, but I do know that my calling is alot louder in my blind when I am in it.[:D]

I was hunting out of a blind this week...and I wondered the same thing.  I just called like I normally would...unless it was raining then I would be a little louder and closer to the windows.  There hearing is much better than hours, so my sense is they can hear it, and from my understanding, even if its more muffled or softer that might work to your advantage in pressured areas.  but I'll defer to the experienced and pros here, I'm sure they know.

I just face the calls out the window, they seem to hear it just fine!

I've only used a blind for the past 2 seasons and I havn't changed my calling style, and it hasn't seem to have made a bit of difference. I've been quite successful in or out of a blind.

I also wondered about the acoustics of a blind and its effects on calling. I usually hold the call up to an open window and call until the birds come in and then just call from inside. I never had an incident that I could point to as being a problem.

The only differance in calling from a blind is that it directs the sound out of which ever side you have the windows open.
