Just a reminder-
 
To hunt Michigan this spring you must purchase a tag or file an lottery application by Feb 1 st!

Drawing Results Available: March 1, 2010 at www.michigan.gov/dnrdrawings
Season Dates: April 19-May 31, 2010 but vary by hunt number
Hunt 234: May 3-May 31, 2010[/left][left] [/left][left]To clarify, April 19-25, and April 26-May 2 are early 1 week hunts drawn by lottery with a limited number of tags per zone. Hunt 234 is a guaranteed general hunt, you will get a tag. If you purchase the 234 tag before Feb 1, they will waive the $4.00 application fee that is associated with the drawn lottery hunts. Just wanted to re-flag for the procrastinators.

I know this is way late in the game, but this is my first time hunting turkey in Mi. I have a 234 license, how many additional tags can I purchase?

Let me check into that and get back to you. The limit in Michigan is one bearded bird per season.

I think any leftover licenses sold over the counter are intended for folks that applied for the lottery zones before Feb 1 st and were unsuccessful. I don't think they are intended as additional permits for hunters who already have a tag.
