May be the calls, may be the caller, you don't know. In a contest all run by the same caller  you have to assume that half of the equation is equal and judge them by the sound/tone. The caller will not change that.

Why did the Poll end last night at Midnight when the first post said that Voting was open until the 31st?

I would have liked to have gotten to vote.

You caught me, VT. I originally had the voting ending today, but pushed back the deadline without telling the poll. You should be able to vote now until Aug. 31.

Thanks!

Question? Did each callmaker do their own calling or were the calls sent in and One caller making the calls on all of the boxes? I am a custom box call maker and make an old style box call (Turpin style). Most hunters that use the new style calls, with the spring under the lid, can not call well on old style calls where the lids have to be tilted and the weight of the lid creates the great sound.

I think all of the boxes sound good enough to call in a turkey. I have herd some sick sounding real hens in the woods. But I think #2 sounds the best of these four calls. Great job to all the call makers. When will the slate calls be judged? I have one of my calls entered in this category.
Thanks
