I just wanted to take a moment and compliment this most excellent team of Pro Staffers. I read the bios and there's certainly a lot of experienced people here representing many regions.
 
 
I have enjoyed becoming a part of your forum and have appreciated the excellent commentary by the staff here and feel like I've begun to get to know some of you.
 
Wouldn't it have been nice to have had this available to us years ago?
 
I have enjoyed reading the wonderful magazine though the years as well.
 
Although I've been in the woods most of my life and have hunted since I was 12 years old, turkey hunting became my true passion  in the early to mid 90's.
 
This forum provides a way for me to get through the off season with out experiencing too severe of withdrawal

I have heard part of the induction into pro-staff involves roosting at dusk, then gobbling your head off at the first crow that yells at you at first light!

I imagine the pitch-downs would be quite entertaining! [:D]

It appears that someone among the STAFF can't keep a secret about initiation procedures .

The roosting isn't bad it is the sailing off the tree and the crash landing that follows, can't seem to get that right yet.

Hey, if I only got to do the mating dance thing for a little over one month out of a whole year, I'd seriously consider risking the crash landing...and sleeping on a limb (for that matter) to get my chance!

i have just about got the fly-down...down pat. i tied feathers to my crutches from the accident before and i am able to maintain the soaring.

I also heard from a reliable source, that the final phase of induction is to be able to blend in with a turkey flock while wearing a wire provided by T&TH, so they can get real time info to pass on to their devoted subscribers!

Now you know how T&TH is on the cutting edge of turkey info!
