Didn't find the turkeys yet but I did find some bucks.Arrowed a nice 8 pointer at 35 yrds.as he was coming in to my "stuffer hen".5 min. latter, as I was packing up my ground blind,another buck the same size walked out.Then, just as I was about to stand up to go field dress my buck, a bigger buck walked out!All this on public land. Good thing for them you can only shoot 1 buck before gun season in MO. BTW,the does and yearlings,which I would rather shoot,came out down wind and didn't stay long.I also had just put my camera up as it just wasn't going to happen with the turkey's in this spot.I would have had the kill on video.The fun part was the drag.I don't deer hunt and don't own a deer cart.I'm heading back next weekend to find the turkey's.
