I don't like to shoot farther than 40 yards, because I don't feel I have done my job and called the turkey in!

My longest was at 40ish yds and was the result of a slight misjudgement. My closest was about 3 yds. Most of my work is done around 20 yds.
 
I like to see the whites of their eyes if I can. I shoot a factory-full choke and I have only missed a few times (once last year [:@]).
 
I tend to think that a lot of these ultra-full turkey chokes are designed to deliver at the wrong range. I suspect they cause as many close range misses as long range kills.

i will shoot as far as im comfortable with wich is about 35 yrds at the max. mainly because i like to shoot 6s and i fell there not much knockdown past 40 or more,therefore most work is done from 10-25yrds
 
jhp dont fell bad i missed a superjake at about 30 yrds this morning
