Tagged Out in FL

Postby onpoint » April 23rd, 2014, 1:34 pm

Well my season is over the first week. Florida only allows us two birds. Since we don't have to purchase tags and turn 'em in I guess I could keep hunt in' like some other folks do but we don't have the bird populations some states do and we need to save some for next season. It will also give someone else an opportunity since I hunt primarily public ground. Guess I shouldn't complain 'cause the Lord provided me with two birds. but it's sure gonna hurt gettin up on pretty spring mornins for the next month knowing someone else is gettin to listen for one rattlin' off on the limb. Not goin' on my annual to Kansas this year, bird count is down, having some knee problems and finances aren't as strong as in years past. Couldn't get pics to load because they were too large. If anyonr knows how to re-size pics taken on an Android cell phone I could sure use the help. Then maybe I could post 'em. Bird #1 20# 3oz. 10 1/2" beard 1" hooks. Bird #2 17# 5oz. 9" 3/4".

First off congratulations on some fine gobblers.

Here is a link on how to resize photos.

You would have to download them or send them from your phone to a laptop/desktop computer for the instructions above to work.

Let me know if you need any help.

Congrats for getting your limit in the first week. It took me 19 long days to do the same feat.
Is it turkey season yet?
