So I think I have finalized my hunting plans for the year but I haven't figured out the dates yet.

I will be hunting in Nebraska for Merriam's and West central Minnesota for a lucky Eastern.

I am pretty excited to be hunting in Nebraska as I have some pretty good information from a friend on where he hunted so I feel pretty good but yet it will be hunting in a area that is brand new to me. I have seen numerous photos of the country he hunted in and it looks pretty awesome.

Good luck to all.

I intend to do my best to tag two mature NC longbeards.
Any other state I get to hunt is an unexpected bonus.

My goals are;
to tag one from a new piece of woods I've never hunted before.
to take a gobbler with my crossbow.
to hunt with my best friend as much as possible.
to call in at least one with the Hustlin' Hen box call I got last summer.
to be safe & have fun.
