Jan.21, 2014

Postby ylpnfol » January 21st, 2014, 9:59 pm

Was a good day for the ole ylpnfol, not a lot of ylpn going on, but the birds are hitting the fields, looking for a little something to eat, we had pretty much a complete acorn failure this year, so a cut soybean field is a good place to be, saw 13 jakes last week in one bunch, so I was trying to get me one of them, today was my last day to go, I found the jakes and they had some company, 4 gobblers.....and then there were 3..... A dandy 2.5 yr old ( IMO ) good times :D well it was a painful excercise, but i got it done ( pic posting, not sure if my comp. or this site + pics are fine on laptop, sideways on iPad! I give up )....the specs were actually better than i thought 10.75 inch beard, 1 spur 1 1/8" the other 1 1/4"...my digital scale crapped out so not sure of weight, i can say he had 2 lbs of soybeans in his craw..... ;)

Congratulations on the gobbler David!

Here is a link to a T&TH thread about how to resize pictures along with a link to the program that I use to resize images.
