I understood what you were saying Ted, but as Steve said, he contacted Mossberg and they wouldn't even give him a quote on a different barrel, that's the sign of a company headed in the wrong direction, or a bad sales rep. ? With as many barrels on the market in stores that are non ported barrels Mossberg should have been willing to try and help a customer out. It's a different story if your looking to customize a gun, then that's your choosing to do so, and then your the one needing to spend the extra cash to do it your way. Mossberg should of been willing to help a customer and if they won't then they just lost a customer!
