A TT for Charlie

Postby WillowRidgeCalls » October 11th, 2013, 10:07 pm

Just finishing up this Tongue Teaser for charlie, it's a purpleheart over mahogany with a cedar striker. I just have to do the fine tuning on it yet, but she'll be ready to go shortly. It has that deep yelp with a high start to it, the cutts are loud and raspy, the clucks are spitty, and both the high and low pitched keekees are sharp whistley kees.
Thanks for the peek, Scott

It's called a Vibrating Tongue Call, or tongue teaser as I call them. They are a cross between a pot call and a box call. You play them that same way you'd play a pot call, but they produce a box call sound, because your playing wood on wood.
