Fall Turkey Season

Postby ads1 » September 29th, 2013, 7:27 pm

October 1 is the start of the fall turkey season and I'm ready. There seems to be a lot of turkeys and they are more visible now that some of the corn and soybeans have been harvested. They seem to be staying in the woods more than in the fields except on rainy days. There are lots of acorns and they may be working on them. A couple of mornings ago a group of turkeys flew off the roost at the same time. There was a lot of chatter. I will be getting everything ready tomorrow for a great day of turkey hunting on the 1st. Good luck to everyone going out! :D
