Remington 11-87 Choke Tube??

Postby ncturkeytalk14 » June 27th, 2013, 12:04 pm

Been shooting a Undertaker .665 in my Remington 11-87, now that i gone to using Mag. Blend, I have to go to a choke tube designed for heavy shot. If i stay with the undertaker i have to go up to the .675. I have had great patterns out of my .665. I was considering a Jelly Head .665, but they are hard to find, even the website only lists the .660. Have they quit making the .665? Has it had problems? Need to get a good set up but not wanting to purchase 50 chokes and throw 49 of them in the cabinet never to use again. Any help would be greatly appreciated pros or cons.
Thanks
Mike

Ask Clark. "allaboutshooting" he'll know, if anyone will.

I have compiled a listing of turkey choke tube manufactors and the restrictions that they offer.Does anyone know if .665 in one choke is a .665 in another choke? Any listing that i missed let me know, I am trying to compile the listing so that i can choose the very best shooting pattern for my gun. I have a Remington 11-87 28" barrel, (Priemer and Sportsman), shooting Hevi Shot Magnum Blend.
Thanks
Mike
