I was thinking about getting a leaf suit to bow hunt in this year. I was wondering if anyone used them and what kind. There are quite a few out there and I don't want to get one that is going to fall apart on me. As with my normal camo I plan on getting a light colored pattern so I don't turn into a dark blob at 20 yrds. out. Thanks for the input.
I don't recommend using one in turkey season. It adds bulk, and when you start sweating the dern thing sticks to you and itches like the devil. But I'm one that's always on the move tryin to make somthin happen. If you're the type that sits around it would probly work good.
This is the Cabela's brand one. You have to look very very close to see me up against the tree in my backyard. Besides turkeys, I also just sat one time and had a buck mule deer just walk right on past me... Too bad I didn't have a tag.
Only bad thing about leaf suits... they don't mix well when trying to cross barb wire fences. Very easy to get snagged.
