Reduced Hunting License Fee

Postby WillowRidgeCalls » July 28th, 2013, 4:35 pm

Youth ages 10 and 11 are eligible.
First Time Hunters, hunters that have never hunted in the state of WI. for the game they are looking to hunt are eligible.
Hunters that haven't hunted in the preceding 10 years for that game are eligible.
Hunters that recruit 3 first time hunters are eligible for reduced fee licenses.

Reduced Fee Licenses are about 1/2 price of a normal license.

So if I were to come to Wis. to turkey hunt I would get my non-res tag 1/2 price? :D What a deal. I like the recruitment deal too. Great idea.
Steve, I love "smoked" turkey

Great idea by the fish and wildlife agency to try and promote more hunting.
Is it turkey season yet?

Yep a non-res first time buyer license is $29.75 spring or fall. Extra tags are $15.

That's a good deal! I should find out soon if I got a harvest permit. August 1 was deadline to apply for a fall permit.:)

Oh you will get one if you applied. There are always thousands of leftover permits for the fall season.
