Making Sawdust

Been a busy week in the shop so far, hewning out a few Turpins and cutting paddles for them.
This first bunch are all Maple calls, L to R-- Curly maple over curly maple, canary over maple, blackwood over maple, canary over maple, hickory over maple, pecan over maple.

This bunch are, L to R-- Kawila over cherry, hickory over cherry, cedar over poplar, cherry over poplar, hickory over cedar, purpleheart over cedar.

This last batch are Mini-Turpins, L to R-- limba over cedar, cedar over cedar, osage over purpleheart, hickory over maple, tamerrind over pecan.
Now the fun begins with the tuning and finishing :lol: .
