Congratulations to team 1 and timbrhuntr for an outstanding hunt and team effort. Also congratulations to everyone who participated on a team this year. I think everyone is a winner regardless of whether you scored on a long beard or not. Just getting out and enjoying nature is a true blessing that can never be taken away. It was fun to meet team members via the forum and learn new knowledge about turkey hunting. I'm pumped and ready to go at it again this fall. May your turkey gun always shoot straight, pattern well, and hit hard! :D

Congratulations to Team 1. You guys piled 'em up for sure. Thanks for organizing and running the contest again this year Gobblerman. I appreciate it. It is a great way to get to know forum members better & root for other hunters.

It was nice to be able to get back in the saddle and add to my team's total this year after getting shut out last year. Last year's disappointing season forced me to find new places to hunt and get back to basic hunting skills, scouting, and woodsmanship this year. Losing access to that lease didn't seem like a good thing at the time, but I know it was now. I also heard that they only killed one gobbler at that lease this year. Too bad for them. :P
