At The Range With My New Shotgun

Postby BHC » May 10th, 2013, 8:28 am

I had time this morning to quickly get to the range with my Remington 11-87 Super Magnum, using a HeviShot turkey choke and HeviShot Magnum Blend ammo. I shot at 30, 40, 50 yds.

At 30 yds I was a little high but a tight pattern, below is the 40yd picture, at 50 yds the pattern was a little more open but was similar to the pattern at 40yds....Also these are small 12" targets, I thought I had turkey targets and the only store open this morning was Wal-Mart and this is all they had

That would be a dead turkey! I would be happy with that :D , but you probably can optimize if you want to.

Yeah I'm sure I can tweak it somewhat, I have a whole year to do so

Just click on the picture and then scroll down and you'll be able to see all of it.

Thanks,

I wouldn't waste time or money in trying to "tweak" this pattern.

Turkeys can't count, and couldn't care less on how many pellets are in a 10 inch paper plate @ 40 yards.
