Canary-Cedar

Postby WillowRidgeCalls » May 21st, 2013, 11:22 am

Just finishing this Gibson up. I haven't put a finish on it yet, I was thinking of doing a little wood burning on it first, but may leave it natural?

That's a beautiful call Scott! How does the Canary sound with the Cedar, is it very raspy?

Yes this call has a deep sounding raspy chatter in it. The cedar gives it the high pitch, the canary gives it the loud deeper sound, both woods have a raspy sound to them, and with this combo they matched good together. It's a med-high pitched start that rolls over into a deep raspy finish. The right side has the deeper tone, the left is a higher pitch sound.
