Back in the woods

Postby Gopherlongbeards » May 2nd, 2013, 7:02 pm

Well heading down to SE MN for my MN D season tomorrow, and, typical for this spring it's an absolute mess down there with all this snow. Supposed to rain tomorrow through Sunday, so that should get rid of some snow. Monday is the last day of D season and so far looking like the only decent day of the bunch. We'll be out there regardless. I don't think I've ever turkey hunted in MN without some type of precip going on :D

Good luck even though the weather is not optimal. My daughter lives in Roberts, WI and they got close to 12 inches. Have you ever used a blind in bad weather?

Good luck to you Gopher. I would hate to hunt in those conditions also but turkey season is so short you have to hunt no matter what mother nature throws at you.
