will they get more receptive?

Postby moredneck » April 19th, 2013, 6:45 pm

Hear in missouri the toms are henned up and they don't roost on the property I hunt so my question is will the toms get more receptive later in the season?

After you make a post you can see an edit option on the right hand side. You can delete it from there.

Yes, you should be able to call them better as the season wears on. Towards the very end of the season you might notice the gobblers starting to slowly get back together. When they do this try calling them in using gobbler talk instead of trying to sound like a hen.
