Ooops. Sorry wrong thread. Well since David is the only one on fire. Maybe this can inspire ya to call birds to you and skip on the jakes and get some big boys. :lol:

You know what they call a Jake? TENDER :lol: Two more weeks until I am hunting in Minnesota and I feel pretty good about getting a good gobbler as it is my normal hunting grounds.

Hang in there eggshell , I'm sure it'll all come together before too long....where in the world is everybody, half the team is mia, the contest isn't the same as it has been in the past :?

I would agree that there seems to be a lot of people MIA this year and the contest isn't the same as previous years.

well I finally contributed to the team kill. Today was our opener and I bagged a Bubba Gobbler. For those of you who are saying, "what's a Bubba gobbler", it's a big old fat , horny and stupid gobbler....the kind that strut right to ya after the first call. Also I must say I am very fond of Bubba turkeys. This old boy had picked in quite a few cow patties. He weighed 23 pounds, 1 1/2 inch spurs and 11 1/2"beard.
