Got the gorilla off my back this morning. There wasn't much gobbling from the roost this morning. I heard 2 shots on different sides of the property and got worried about being two turkeys down before I even saw any. At 7:35 I cutt and yelped on the long box and about 10 minutes later I heard spitting & drumming. A hen crossed in front of me with a gobbler in tow about 15 yards away. I described what I saw over the radio to my buddy, who asked what I was waiting on. I busted the gobbler at 23 yards.

19.5 pounds
9.75 inch beard
1.125 inch spurs
NWTF score= 61.5

Congratulations on getting back in the groove Jim. I am glad to hear that you are having success especially after last year.
