Do jakes spit/drum??

Postby Uncle Nicky2 » April 10th, 2013, 11:19 am

Just curious, has anyone ever heard a jake spit/drum? I never have, but I've heard them gobble & seen them strut fanned-out.

Yes they absolutely do drum. Heard one drum just last Sunday as a matter of fact.

That's cool to know. I have never heard one do it in all my 30 years hunting them. Learn something new about them every year
