Turkeys/Hunters Play Which Game?

Cribbage.
The game is played on many levels with several ways to win.
You never know what you are getting or what your opponent has been dealt. Where is he and where are the hens?
You discard to the crib to favor you or not help your opponent. Take advantage of the terrain, shadows, foliage etc.
The play is like working the gobbler. You lead, he plays when all the cards are played you may be a couple of points ahead.
You score the hands and the crib and start over again.
In the end one of you gets 121. For the gobbler he lives to play another day. When you get there first it is a trip to the check station, picture taking, then processing into meat.

And in cribbage you can get skunked or even double skunked! :D

Love to play cribbage. Learned from my friends grandfather up in Alberta one summer. We would set the fishing poles out and play cribbage while waiting in his boat for a bite. Good times.

Hmm, My only experience with cribbage is the beautiful, artful boards that have been given to me as gifts. Perhaps if I learn more about this game I'll become a better turkey hunter?
