Well are all my SC. brothers ready for Turkey season.Shomping at the bit myself been pattern testing chokes to pass the time.Will be in the Yellow Diamond opening day.Had A great year last year.Hope ya'll did to.Look forward to hearing from ya'll.

Well, we are under 30 days now!! My vest is packed and ready. Calls are tuned, I need to get a few more mouth calls and thermocell refills. I need to shoot the gun a couple of times just to be sure. It's almost time to go listening. Going to put a few cams out this weekend. Hopefully this mild weather doesn't let things green up too quickly like last year.

Morgan What is opening day in the lowcountry.I think March 15 on privet and April 1 on game land for us I think!

got 45 days up in the Pee Dee.i will be out sat for the first day of scouting .my wife said i cant take anything out till march 1.so no practice yet.I am looking for a better year this year.only got 1 last year. but seen a bunch of good birds during deer season. good luck to everyone this up and coming season. be careful out there.

March 15th is for private lands and April 1 for GMA in game zone 6.

1 Morgan And SCHunter good to see everybody getting ready.I hear Newberry calling me hard.I hope it will not warm up to soon that would not be good.The wife is going to hunt with me this year.So i have been getting by with playing my calls.I hope to have her gun set up by then going to be close alot of work to do.Pattern test chokes /shot shells/mount red dot.And little time left but i'll get''rr done.Good Luck To ya'll .

Morgan is there any public land down there that has birds on it? I am going to hunt in Sumter on the Air Force base again this year and i would like to go some where close to the coast this year.

There is a bunch in my area. Savannah NWR, Webb, Palachocola, Hamilton Ridge. All of them hold birds, I probably spend as much time on public lands as I do on private during turkey season.

1 Morgan did you get your trail cams out. Like you I spend as much time on game land as my lease maybe more .Ya'll get up this way let me know.
