2013 Goals

Even though I have several turkey hunts this year my only goal is to take the dad that took me on my first ever hunt on his last ever hunt to harvest an Osceola.

I will be praying to the turkey gods that you and your dad have a successful and great final hunt together.

I appreciate it Dewey I will need all the help I can get. so far I'm one for one (100%) on Osceola. In my humble opinion the finest of all the birds to hunt.

I'm taking a friend's 13 yr old on his first turkey hunt, so that's the priority.

A. To have fun and get him through some orientation.
B. If he gets a bird that's a bonus.

For myself, I'm going to try to harvest a gobbler with my bow again. I skewered one last year that I never recovered and I'm still upset over that.

My goal is to go out and have fun, hopefully harvest a bird or two or three but not put to much pressure on myself and overthink things. Scoot

My challenge is to stay off the gun so I can accomplish this :D

I have two.First to get my wife a bird.Then get me three big fat long beards.That is my goal.

My biggest goal is here .. to even get an Eastern on my property!! But I am looking forward to hopefully getting a couple of Ocellated Toms in Yucatan and 1Eastern in Michigan, and calling in more, for my buddies there!! ;)
