If you can't find the heavy shells don't be affraid to shoot some lead. We give the WIN shells to our youth and LTH shooters to use and they drop birds 35-40 with no problem. The heavy shot is better, but the lead will work just fine for you if you have a good turkey choke in the gun.

That's an absolute FACT! I killed the biggest gobbler of my life (25lb Merriams), with a Mossberg® Mdl 500C 20 ga, SWARM™ .555" choke, and Winchester® Supreme™ 20ga 3" Mag 1200fps 1 5/16oz #4Pb (#STH2034) at 42yds. He was dead before his beak hit the ground!

I have been using Hevi-13 for some time and am really impressed with it. I shoot #6 in a 3 inch and have no fear shooting a Tom at 40-50 yards s I have done it several times with one shot kills. I think Cabelas or Rogers has what you are looking for. Good luck this spring!

With turkey season right around the corner you should be able to find Hevi-13 in 20 GA all over the place. Hevi-13 is a great choice for turkey as it patterns great and really carries a punch at long distances.

I was looking over some shells over the weekend!!! These ammo companies are out of their freeking minds!!!!!!! It's not that I can't afford it but I just refuse to spend $30.00 for 5 shells of anything....so I found some W/W supremes for $16 for 10..I'm not crazy about that price either but it's 25% of the cost of the Hevi shots... just let them sit on the shelves and they'll get the message... absolutely refuse to shoot $6.00 shells at anything... then I started looking at the price of rifle shells.. soon it will be buy 4 boxes of shells and we'll give you the rifle for free....
