oh yeah gopher we learned that a long time ago about hunting during the only hunt period with NO WK-ENDs we go down sunday trout fish & set up camp then hunt turkey all morning & trout fish in afternoon & then head back out to either roost or try & kill a gobbler come evening time...

we also have less trout fisherman to deal with that week also & we dont like huge crowds like on opener wk-end not our thing at all so we just relax hunt fish & relax some more we will be coming from a OK,KS,SD trip like 4-6 days prior so we use MN as like a mellow relax type hunt after hunting hard out of state for damn near 2 wks lol

we would be down there trout fishing even if we did not draw a turkey tag we just seem to luck out???
