I will say that I don't agree with hopes for a mild winter, I'm a hardcore icefishermen so naturally I'd like it to be cold :p and winters with no snow aren't good cause then there is no runoff in the spring like what happened this past spring and the waterways are way to low. It doesn't haven to be terrible but colder temps and a
little snow is what I would like

Mossberg, Yeah, I'm with ya. Cold temps are fine with me along with a little snow. Just don't like the real deep stuff that stays for weeks and causes high winter kill. A few milder than average winters might be good for the turkey population but of course might negatively affect other areas. Maybe I should simply hope for a normal winter. Happy Holidays! Jeff.

Yea, deep winters aren't very good for the animals, but like you said, a normal winter is nice. Just a medium amount of snow and colder temps but not too cold :D We had a really good hatch around here and up in the adirondacks where I was this summer which is nice and this winter has been lane
so far so the turkeys are doing good around here.
