I just took a look at your Facebook page, & I'd say that it's good enough so that you don't need a dedicated website. Spend your time instead getting ready for your March event.

You guys got that right.
I'm looking forward to meeting all you guys.

Facebook is only a small part of total internet users so for more exposure a regular website could be beneficial especially if the site domain contains words of the event. As word gets out there will those who do searches for more info and usually facebook pages do not show up in searches.
Perhaps a self standing blog would sufficient. It has its own domain, Wordpress is free if you know how to set it up, cheap if assistance is required, you can easily make your own updates/posts and search engines like Google love em.

It's sounding like this is going to be a good deal for young and new turkey hunters, with lots of info for them to use. :)

Happy to announce the venue for the big event. The Howards Grove High School has been reserved. Now that the holidays are done I am really getting busy on this thing. Hoping to get the new website up soon!!

Some real good sponsors and vendors in the works, hopefully I can get them all confirmed soon.
2 more vendors added, S&S hunting accessories, they specialize in camera arms that strap to a tree or freestand, a newer company and located right here in WI. Also an individual that sells something that substitutes for chalk on box calls, I am curious to find more out about this!!

I will keep you all posted on the newest updates as they come.

Looks like a great lineup of speakers Randy! I wish I could make it but I already know the answer the wifey would give me. I would imagine that when Brian, Shane, Scott, Charlie and Vic get together in one area there is a massive migration of turkeys out of that area.

I know from personal experience from a hunt last spring with Brian that the birds hid and wouldn't make a peep when he was in town!!!

Also some more announcments:

A great sponsor has just come aboard, Drury Outdoors!!! They are also donating calls to give to the LTH participants which is what this event is all about.

Also the product I talked about in my last post is called, The Box Call Remedy, sounds like a cool product that I am looking forward to finding more about. It is 2 local guys that started making it about a year ago and are just starting to sell it after giving a lot of it away with a lot of positive feedback.

Also a great local taxidermist, Bucks and Beyond will have a booth there.

Stay tuned more to come!!!
