Vic's Back in Action

Postby charlie elk » October 29th, 2012, 8:17 pm

Good news looks like Vic has beaten the infection and as you can see he is back in action.

We cover about 6 miles on Sunday before we, I should say Vic found the turkeys and man did he find the mother lode of turkeys. They were in feeding on basswood seeds and bitter nut hickory when he busted em. Called these birds back in on 2 separate calling sessions.

This picture, taken earlier in the season is where we hunt in unit 1, its all public land as far as the eye can see.

If you agree with me call it fact; if you disagree - call it my opinion.
After all - we are talking turkey.

Great to see that Vic recovered quickly. And that's a mighty snazzy camo jacket that he's wearing.
Good hunting, you two.

Good to see you and Vic are back after them. Wish our publics were that size over here, most are only a few hundred yards long and half that wide.

That looks like plenty of ground to wander around in! I don't know what kind of camera you are using but that is a great high quality photo. Vic looks like he wants to get over taking pictures and get back after them.
Steve, I love "smoked" turkey

Congratulations to you and Vic for getting after the turkeys some more. Glad to hear Vic beat the infection.

Good luck on the next hunt Charlie.
