Well our fall turkey season started last Sat.my day started at 6.00 am,did not hear anything at fly down time but I did not gave up.At 9.00 I hear some birds on the other side of the ridge so I got my tumpet call out and gave them some yelps, but they did not come my way.So I would wait until later in the day at 4.00pm I was at where I heard them in the morning waiting on them to come to me and it worked one after another they came out of a deep hollow into a clearing where I was at,they all where all this years birds and some hens, and the last one was a beard hen so decided to shoot her,After about 15min of her running around with all the other turkeys I finally seen her again and put the red dot on her and send a load of #5 her way.She had a 8 and half inch beard and weight 12 pounds.
