Is anyone shooting a Knight TK2000 for turkeys?
I'm thinking about getting one with the thumhole stock and a Rem. choke tube.
Just wondering if anyone is shooting one and how they like it?

I did not know they took RemChokes. I thought they used a choke tube that made it a Jug Choke.

It looks like a jug cut barrel that squeezes the shot back down into the choke tube. It looks like the jug is about an inch back in the barrel. They use a Rem. thread on their chokes.

I believe that Larry Lombard shoots one of those guns. He's here every now and then. He's a great guy, set the NWTF World Record with ML guns a few years ago, has a lot of experience with ML guns and I'm sure could be of help to you. I can give him a shout and see if he can be of help to you.

Well howdy, My knights are both set up with knight chokes.My load is 100 grns of ffg goex blk powder,bpi 3 1/2 wad, full cup hevi- shot,bpi cardboard cover wad, fed 209 primer.I have scopes on mine.You might try starting with 90 grns and work your way up.I plan to work up load with blkhorn 209 next spring. hope this helps,Larry

Thanks Larry. That is about what I figured for a starting point. I had planed on starting with 85 grn of No. 7 and a 3" wad with 1-1/2 oz of 5 shot and work with a powder and shot charge out of the extra full choke that comes with them. I can see where the hvy shot would improve the performance out of them and range.

We have one in the shop now. We will be working on a choke for this gun. I will post pic after we get it all fixed up and paper work fixed. Got to keep it American.
