Do you always use the acrylic tips for the strikers for the copper surfaces?

Nice looking striker, who was your inspiration on that mended striker?

Kawboy,
I like to come up with new ideas this time of year when the callmaking is a little slow.
If you look at my calls you will see that they are different looking than standard turkey calls.
So I guess you could say the inspiration came from me.

Ted,
The acrylic tips work very well on copper. I like them when hunting in damp conditions. Also they don't loadup as fast as a wood tip does.

I thought it may have been one of mine from the last few years. I love laminating up matching strikers.
