Shoot Notes:
- Comaraderie and kindness between shooters and teams and NWTF staff was at an all-time high!
- Rhett Simmons and Chris Piltz and the NWTF put another A+ event and effort into the event. Everyone was quite thankful of their efforts and what it takes to "make it happen."
- A stock shotgun won out against the high $$$ custom shotguns in the 12GA Open class!
- Wind speed was light at 0 to 7 mph but quite shifty over the firing range itself.
- Friday, October 5th humidity levels ranged from 100% at 8:00 AM to 47% at 2PM to 52% at 5:00PM
- Friday, October 5th temperatures ranged from 63 degrees F at 8:00 AM to 79 degrees F at 2PM to 79 degrees at 5:00PM
- Saturday, October 6th humidity levels ranged from 96% at 8:00 AM to 40% at 2PM to 38% at 5:00PM
- Saturday, October 6th temperatures ranged from 64 degrees F at 8:00 AM to 83 degrees F at 2PM to 84 degrees at 5:00PM
- 12 and 20 gauge Hevi-13 shot shells utilized were in boxes of 5 shot shells
- Lower than normal 12GA scores (high teens to low 20s for most of both days[8]
Higher than normal 20GA scores (high teens to mid 20s for most of both days) - Shotgun Voodoo was alive and well!
