12 Gauge HUNTER (Stock Shotguns) Shooting Class

2012 World Still Target Champion: Brian Sloan - Stock Browning BPS 12GA pump shotguns (2 different stock BPSs) equipped with Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tubes and using Environ-Metal's 3" Hevi-13 2 oz. number 6 shot.


12 Gauge Open (can be custom shotguns) Shooting Class

2012 World Still Target Champion: Steve Conover- STOCK 26-inch-barreled Remington Model 870 Express Super Magnum 12 gauge shotgun and custom Savage 210 bolt-action shotgun equipped with Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tubes and using Environ-Metal's 3" Hevi-13 2 oz. number 6 shot.


20 Gauge Open (can be custom shotguns) Shooting Class

2012 World Still Target Champion: Steve Conover - Custom GUNWORKS Pro Stock Ithaca pump-action 20GA shotgun equipped with an Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tube and using Environ-Metal's 3" Hevi-13 1 1/4 oz. number 6 shot.

2012 World Still Target Champion: Amanda Fox - Custom GUNWORKS Pro Stock Ithaca pump-action 20GA shotgun equipped with an Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tube and using Environ-Metal's 3" Hevi-13 1 1/4 oz. number 6 shot.


JAKES (17 & under) 20 Gauge Open (can be custom shotguns) Shooting Class

2012 World Still Target Champion: Alex Fox - Custom GUNWORKS Savage 220 Bolt-Action shotgun and a stock Beretta AL 391 Urika 2 20GA semi-automatic shotgun equipped with Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tubes and using Environ-Metal's 3" Hevi-13 1 1/4 oz. number 6 shot.

12 Gauge Muzzleloading Shotgun (can be custom shotguns) Shooting Class

2012 World Still Target Champion: Brian Sloan - Custom 12GA muzzleloading shotgun equipped with an Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike choke tube and using 2oz. of Hevi-Shot number 6 shot pellets and Swiss ffg real black powder.


Shoot Notes:

• Comaraderie and kindness between shooters and teams and NWTF staff was at an all-time high!
• Rhett Simmons and Chris Piltz and the NWTF put another A+ event and effort into the event. Everyone was quite thankful of their efforts and what it takes to "make it happen."
• A stock shotgun won out against the high $$$ custom shotguns in the 12GA Open class!
• Wind speed was light at 0 to 7 mph but quite shifty over the firing range itself.
• Friday, October 5th humidity levels ranged from 100% at 8:00 AM to 47% at 2PM to 52% at 5:00PM
• Friday, October 5th temperatures ranged from 63 degrees F at 8:00 AM to 79 degrees F at 2PM to 79 degrees at 5:00PM
• Saturday, October 6th humidity levels ranged from 96% at 8:00 AM to 40% at 2PM to 38% at 5:00PM
• Saturday, October 6th temperatures ranged from 64 degrees F at 8:00 AM to 83 degrees F at 2PM to 84 degrees at 5:00PM
• 12 and 20 gauge Hevi-13 shot shells utilized were in boxes of 5 shot shells
• Lower than normal 12GA scores (high teens to low 20s for most of both days[8]
  Higher than normal 20GA scores (high teens to mid 20s for most of both days)
• Shotgun Voodoo was alive and well!
