grizz, no worries I understood it to be a hypothetical question...we all know that most turkey hunters have at least 4-5 call within reaching distance.

Even though I love my slate, I'd have to choose a diaphragm call, just because it cuts down on motion. The best spot I hunt is real tight & I have had to let birds pass or risk getting busted going for my gun. Having another chance to take that bird at that same spot is way better than trying to figure where he's fled to.

Mouth call for me less movement and it will make all of the calls a turkey can make.

I really dislike this question...I think I answer it differently every year when someone asks...

I think its a mouth call for me for the very reason stated above.
