Southern Illinois Classic - The Results

It was a beautiful day in Southern Illinois! Under clear skies, it was close to 60º when the shoot began and gradually warmed to 74º by the time the event ended. We did have some windy conditions most of the day but other than that, it was perfect fall weather.

A nice crowd was on that included folks from several different states as well as many local shooters and spectators. Larry and John, the operators of the Rend Lake Shooting Complex had the area well prepared with gun racks, benches and tables for our use. Thanks.

Fourteen members of the Jackson County Wild Turkeys chapter ran targets, judged the line, handed out shells, scored targets and did everything necessary to make the shoot progress smoothly.
