Two for the BBQ

The Willowridge fall call, the one for kee-keeing and such is working great. I've had a lot of birds come in the last 4 days and finally got hungry enough to shoot a couple.

Got this one in unit 4 Tuesday afternoon, took him less than 10 minutes to come to the call.

Vic helped, he broke the flock, we setup on a narrow ridge, called, he flew back from across the valley, landed and popped his head up above the ridge line at the shot all I saw was feathers and fur rolling down the hill. As peered over I saw Vic holding the turkey.

This morning in unit 1 lady luck shined again. Vic broke em, we setup and they came back in about 45 minutes later.

Congratulations to you and Vic. It's killing me on these cool mornings not being in the woods talkin turkey. I guess I can just lead a voyeured turkey hunt through you wisconsin guys.
