Welcome. It's good to have you here. Turkey hunting, as has been pointed out, is addictive but it also allows you to meet and share experiences with a lot of great folks. Many of them are right here at the T&TH forum.
Folks will really try to be helpful. There is a lot of great information available today about turkey hunting. If you haven't already, I'd recommend that you subscribe to T&TH magazine. I've spent the last several days with the latest issue and it's full of good information, advice and products that can be of help to you. The articles posted at this site are also great.
This sport is fun and that's what it's meant to be. I'd encourage you to look at that way. Woodsmanship, calling and trying to learn to get the bird to come to you, at least in my opinion, is what it's all about.
Lastly, if you have specific questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We all learn from each other, no matter how long or short our turkey hunting experience is.
