My Fall Call with sound file

I finished up my fall season call today, it's a Blk Limba pot with bronze glass over blackwood soundboard. This call has the same deep throated rasp in it as that magnolia call did, but it has a bit higher start to it. The kee kee's are that sweet mid tone kee. I don't get too excited about the sound of calls any more, but this call has peeked my intrest, can't wait to get it into the woods this fall and see how the birds like it?

Nice one Scott looks like a killer. Magnolia is a very tonal wood that sure suprised me you don't hear alot about it.
How did the magnolia pot sound?

Between the Limba and the Magnolia, the Limba has a more cleaner sound to it, a bit more crisp and sharp. The Magnolia had a bit more softer sound to it. Both played and sounded great and wouldn't be affraid to take either to the woods. I've heard that Magnolia has a good tone to it, I'd like to try it for a box call sometime?

I ran this file with the jatoba striker to give it a higher pitch. This is about as high pitched as I can get it.

Considering how much sound quality gets lost in translation in cyberspace, sounds down right good.
The glass call you made for me makes great kee-kees when I use a carbon or plastic striker, even when wet. A great call spring and fall, keep up the good work.
