Summertime calls

Postby bbcustomboxcalls » June 11th, 2012, 11:37 am

Well turkey season is over and the Springtime call orders have slowed down. So this is the time of year I like to experiment and start making calls for next years Sportsmens Shows.
Here are a couple I just finished. The first is Maple pot with Padauk inlay and a Padauk striker. The second is a call I make a couple of each year. It is Yellowheart with Purpleheart inlay.
It has a Yellowheart striker. Both have slate surfaces.

I like the chamfer on the holes on the 2nd call.

Dresses it up a little.
As far as this turkey thing......I know enough...to know enough...that I don't know enough
