i like chicken,,,, fried in lard ,,,in an iron skillet. taters,,,sliced thin ,,,,fried in lard,,,in an iron skillet . gravy,,,,in the same skillet the chicken was fried in ,,,with all the browned flour and skin peices ,,,,bring to a slow boil SLOWLY DA'GUMMIT! and BISCUITS,,,,made with lard.
apple pie,,,,lard in the crust ,,,and basket weave across the top,,,brown the edges where it hangs over the iron skillet.
