hckyplayer8 - That's awesome, glad you were able to get one in these tough conditions. I actually went out a little this morning and was able to work a gobbler for about an hour but he had at least 3 hens with him, had no need to come visit my set-up! I'm really glad to hear a gobbler, this has been such a weird season, weather got thigs all jacked up but it's still possible to call in a gobbler.

Again congrats on the gobbler, enjoy the fruits of your labor!

Thanks Dave. Last year was a lot worse for me.

Hunt your honey holes and put some miles on those boots until you find fresh sign. The birds are def. still breeding. Now my focus shifts to calling for my father.
