remington 887 nitro

Hi Has anyone used the remington 887 nitro mag for turkey hunting. Looking on the web there was some horror stories when this model first came on the market. Wolverine Supplies has a tactical model that just needs a proper choke but I was wondering if the jamming problems were fixed by remington. Thanks
